Vintage, hand dyed, hand-woven fabric sewn into fabulous jackets. Handmade in Woodstock NY from vintage fabrics from Africa.
The material is 100% handwoven cotton made in Mali, West Africa. Each strip is woven in about 6” strips and then sewn together and made into blankets. It is then printed with either an indigo tie dye process or a mud dye process. Then traditional tribal designs are printed on to the fabric. The source goes directly to Africa and buys each piece from the local craftspeople. The indigo tie dye ones are vintage.
All are washed before cutting and sewing.
EACH JACKET IS ONE OF A KIND, you can request with or without fringe.
