“Through direct experience, I’ve learned how exhaling is something I can do when everything else feels too much, when things feel pointless or I myself am feeling worthless. It’s a doing action I can take when I feel like I’ve reached my undoing.”

Erin Brennan is the founder, creator and co-designer of the Halo Straw™ and Moon Song Yoga & Wellness, LLC, a jewelry design and wellness company.

As a certified SomaYoga Instructor, Yoga Calm© Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and Shiatsu Shin-Tai Foundation Level Practitioner, and dedicating over 20 years of her life to the studies of mental health and wellness, she knows first-hand the power of the breath and how the Halo Straw™ can be an essential tool toward a more centered and healthy lifestyle.

“After many years of trying ‘everything’ for my own mental health, I was amazed at the combined simplicity and effectiveness of Yoga and Pranayama (breathwork) once I began exploring from the inside out. And so my research and practice began...and the Halo Straw™ was born.”

Taking conscious control of the breath is the most convenient, bioavailable way we all have in taking conscious control of our overall health. And the Halo Straw™ is a perfect training tool to strengthen breath awareness with more ease and frequency.

“If I had to limit my advice on healthier living to just one tip, it would be simply to learn how to breath correctly.” - Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D.

I am a self-taught artist/painter. I started painting in my late twenties in Nashville. The first painting i ever made was of a naked woman, i only used blue and white.

I just started painting more and more and got some lovely reactions from the people around me which encouraged me to expose and sell my work. My work and style developed, I started painting my -then little- nieces a lot. This led to painting more and more kids in fantastical dreamscapes. Children’s books are a very natural fit for my work and I have published several. These days when i paint children I feel they are a representation of our own inner child.

My hope is that the paintings and imagery invoke a sense of wonder and beauty. A safe space in the (inner) world to come home to and feel connected.

When I moved to NYC painting became my main work as i started selling my work on the streets and in the markets. I have continued to do this for 12 years participating in big market events, like the Union Square holiday market. I also create animations from my paintings.

I now live upstate NY with my family and continue to create daily.
